Second consecutive record Salmon run in Columbia!

"Last year set a modern-day record, with more than 127,000 adult summer chinook counted at the Bonneville Dam, which is closest to the mouth of the 1,200-mile-long river; and almost 63,000 reaching the Wells Dam, farther upstream.

Migration of summer chinook is still under way, but the numbers suggest a good return this year as well, with more than 112,000 adult summer chinook at Bonneville Dam; and almost 26,000 at Wells Dam."

I wonder why this hasn't made any of the major news outlets? It certainly would appear to be news following last year's and the previous year's stories of Klamath River fisheries disasters.

to use all the water in the rivers for irrigation and let the wildlife die?
