Oz Acting PM "Shares Bush's Passion For Green-Friendly Options"
Real :puke:fest here.

ACTING Prime Minister Mark Vaile has declared himself "a sceptic" on any link between climate change and the drought. But he's a closet greenie at home on his NSW north coast farm, embracing solar power, grey water and recycling.

From today, the Nationals leader will rule the prime ministerial roost until late January, although John Howard traditionally "pops in" between watching the cricket, perhaps this year to announce a cabinet reshuffle. Mr Vaile, who will use his tour of duty to visit drought-affected regions, said he remained unconvinced of a clear link between rising greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. "I am a sceptic as far as linking the drought to climate change, absolutely," he told The Australian yesterday.

EDIT

At home, he admits to sharing US President George W. Bush's passion for embracing green-friendly options. "I see the important thing as getting the average family in the street to work out things they can do," he said.

"We've got a big solar hot water system on our roof. It's really cut back our power bill ... easily by 20 per cent compared with where we were in town when we had electric hot water.

EDIT

Well, isn't that just precious?
