Help, my friend's forum seized by GW deniers, Freepers!!!

I have to beg for help on this fine forum from DUers who know that we must spread the wealth of our knowledge, perceptions and wisdom.

Recently, a very friendly forum/message board has been over-run by Freepers of all strips. For years it has mostly been a very friendly (no registration required) forum for folks who've known each other for years. We've always had those who dis Democrats, global climate change, etc. I've got to ask you all who are versed in the arts of persuasion to help my friend, Mr Bopp (the owner/moderator) who gave me permission to ask you to join his forum and try to shed some of your wonderful stuff there.

If you have a bit of spare time, it would be a great service to add your thoughts and comments to those readers there who are now not sure how the real world works. I trust that you will do this with usual grace and sincerity without going ballistic when you see the low levels to which the Freepers stoop as they troll/flame us all.

The first priority is to set the Global warming deniers straight away by giving them some pertinent info and/or generally rebutting their rabid posts with the http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/national/truth .

(Mostly about astronomy but there's a 24/7 "paid to post" guy "JTRIV" that is nonstop denial but well read on scientific (or he probably reads "junkscience.com" and all the other paid for blogs by Exxonmobil.). I've argued the science with him for years to no avail. He will piss you off but be aware that climate change deniers want to do that so speak to his wider audience. That is how we must get the message across beyond the mega bucks now being poured into these astroturfers who seem to now be dominating many forums on this subject. Mr bopp told me that anybody who can pin him down on his diatribes and bust him wide open are most welcome there.

If you go the main menu, you'll see what's happening to the "National Board" which is mostly dominated by Freepers now and drive by shooters who hate Democrats with a vengeance which has totally left me out in the cold.

I hope, pray that my fellow Duers here realize that this message is meant to add to our wealth of holistic knowledge which we must share and spread. In that light, I welcome your comments, suggestions, etc.

Also, remember that no registration is required. It's a totally free forum so post away with all your might and bring these poor folks back into the light! Thanks ahead fellow Duers for your help. This fellow is one of the best guys you'd ever hope to meet and well worth the small effort and time.

Note: I posted this in "General Discussion" and another Duer suggested that I post it here. PLEASE help, at least with the GW deniers. I've lost my objectivity having tried so mightily to fight them off now for fully 3 years.

never thought I'd see the day that in so many forums I"vie been to lately - the deniers reign supreme.

WAKE UP CALL: They have all the Exxonmobile $$, coal, gas $$ behind them only now it's gone underground. Oh yea, Exxon no longer funds CEI, so they said in their press release a couple of months ago. Not they just hire PR guys to do their dirty work. Plant doubt everywhere on every blog, every message board, every forum because they know that the internet is the most powerful swayer of minds and souls.

Fact is, we are losing this war of minds. That is why I beg you to go there, post any and all info on what news, etc., comes up.

Mother earth, our dear Mom - will survive with or without us but without a true intent within our very souls, will we survive? I do not know and at this juncture, am not sure we should but while I'm here by God, I'll fight those asshole Freepers 'till the day I die!!!
