Pictures George W. does not want us to see
http://www.thememoryhole.org/war/wounded/gallery.htm
This site has scrubbed articles at its home location. I was not sure where to post this.

The above site has pictures of the horribly wounded that George and the guys don't want us to see, but their families have to see these young men who will never be the men they were before the Iraq war. Also this site has many scrubbed articles that may be very interesting. I feel so sad for these wounded veterans, and more sad knowing that they probably won't get enough disability to survive on after what they have given up for their country. George did cut the budget for the Veterans hospitals, but did give his very rich pioneer buddies a gigantic tax cut. For him, certain priorities have won over morality and compassion. Anyone can spout Christian words, but the works show what a person really has in their heart. The way George spends our tax dollars, and who he gives the mega buck tax cuts to show whats in his heart. BTW its not christianity at least not like Chirst taught it.

1. Ever see a homeless vet?
Or, worse yet, a homeless vet missing a limb? My neighbor, a member of Viet Nam Vets Against War, sent me an article about the suffering of these soldiers. Seems the Kevlar vests protect the vital organs but not the limbs, and many are missing more than one. And Chimpy hasn't gone to visit even one of them. Has he no conscience?

2. Like to see you put that on TV or maybe Free Rep.
Would you give an arm or leg for Bush?

3. "young men who will never be the men they were before the Iraq war."
No, they will never be the same, but they will not be lesser men.

One of the greatest men I know of is a quadrapalegic, from an accident in his thirties. He is an educator and spiritual guide for many many people.

One thing these young men will learn is that their manhood does not depend on physical "perfection." They will learn things about strength and love which they never could have believed possible.

Thank you for posting this, schultzee. You are so right, we need to make sure these veterans and their life-long struggles are not forgotten.
