FIRST KELLY INQUIRY WITNESS ATTACKS No 10 SMEARS |
|
THE first witness at today's David Kelly inquiry said the weapons expert was tough and cool under pressure - smashing Downing Street's "Walter Mitty" smear. Testimony to Dr Kelly's character came from former army colonel Terry Taylor, a director of the International Institute of Strategic Studies in America. Both worked in Iraq, where Dr Kelly was a United Nations inspector and a key to uncovering biological weapons. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews/content_objectid=13277931_method=full_siteid=50143_headline=-FIRST%2DKELLY%2DINQUIRY%2DWITNESS%2DATTACKS%2DNo%2D10%2DSMEARS-name_page.htmlKelly was assassinated http://darkerxdarker.tripod.com/

2. this statement is telling |
|
Speaking ahead of the hearings yesterday Mr Taylor said the apparent suicide was "way out of character for a man I had seen cope with extreme pressures so well".
He added: "During my 15 years of friendship, and 10 years in the most difficult and trying circumstances together battling the Iraqis, I have always admired him for his coolness and his measured approach.
"He certainly didn't flap under pressure, he was a model of how to conduct yourself in tense situations."
...this same man had talked to Kelly about his daughter's upcoming wedding, and a visit...
Kelly's death certainly looks like the work of the Bush junta, but will what happened or not ever be known?
