Israelis arrested in Jordan confess supplying arms to Sudan rebels
KHARTOUM, Dec 26, 2004 (Sudanese radio) -- Sources involved in preliminary investigations in Jordan have revealed that the Israelis arrested by the Jordanian security forces have confessed their involvement in supplying weapons to the Darfur Region.

1. Sudan accuses Israel, Germany of involvement in Darfur conflict
KHARTOUM, Dec 21, 2004 (Xinhua) -- The Sudanese government on Tuesday accused Israel and Germany of involvement in the ongoing conflict in the troubled western Darfur region.

"The information about the involvement of Israel on supplying the Darfur rebels with weapons is correct," State Minister in the Interior Ministry Mohammed Haroun told a press conference.

"Those who have been involved in the conspiracy were seized by a friendly country's intelligence agency and investigations on the issue are still going on," he said.

2. Sudan accuses Israel of providing support to Darfur rebels
KHARTOUM, Dec 19, 2004 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid Sunday accused Israel of providing Darfur rebels with "moral and material support".

"The material and moral support Israel provides to the Darfur rebels uncovers the size of the external conspiracy for realizing particular agenda in the region," said Hamid in a press statement.
