I'd really like to know how many people are saved by arming themselves and killing home intruders vs. how many are killed accidently by having guns in the house.....anyone have the numbers on this?

200,000 and something like 2.5 million, depending on who you ask. Lots of times the site of an armed person that the criminal thought was unarmed sends the criminal fleeing.

23. Interesting question but don't forget those who are saved without having

to kill anyone. Those statistics are rarely collected or even reported.

Still, each person has the inalienable right to defend self and handguns are the most effective-efficient tool available. As long as government is not obligated to defend an individual, then it is difficult for gun-grabbers to make their case to ban handguns or all guns.
