(Pittsburgh PA) City cop charged in road rage shooting
http://www.post-gazette.com/localnews/20031206roadrage1206p4.asp

An off-duty Pittsburgh police officer was arrested yesterday and charged with firing several gunshots at a truck in an apparent road-rage incident Wednesday on the Parkway West.

Paul Anthony Palmer, 35, of Sheraden, a 10-year veteran of the force currently on workers' compensation, was arraigned last night on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault.

<snip>

The shooting happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday. Oliver Sherwood, 33, of Wilkinsburg was hauling a load of construction debris from Beltzhoover to Findlay along the Parkway West near the on-ramp from Interstate 79.

Sherwood shifted to the left lane to allow merging traffic onto the Parkway. Shortly thereafter, he was confronted by the driver of a green Subaru wagon, who pulled in front of him and came to almost a full stop.

Sherwood said he slammed on his brakes. The Subaru sped into the right lane and waved for Sherwood to pass. It was then that Sherwood said he heard seven gunshots, which hit the front passenger-side tire and rim of his 18-wheel dump truck. The driver of the Subaru sped off and exited at Campbell's Run Road.

3. Here is the AntiRKBA poster boy....
A trained, background checked, man with a registered gun who is a police officer attempts to kill someone.

These are the only people who anti RKBA supporters think should be able to carry guns.

This asshole isn't even being charged with attempted murder.
