PA State Police in violation of State Constitution, no one seems to care. |
|
PA State Police routinely violate the PA State Constitution by keeping records of handgun sales in the state. Out Constitution states it is not legal to register handguns nor to keep a record of their sales for over 60 days. The State Police keep suck records of sales permanently on their computers, going back to the 1930's. They claim it is just to record the transfer of the gun, not keep any record of the current owner, which seems impossible to me, since they require SSAN, and all personal information on the transfer form for each handgun sale. In PA, all handguns must be transferred via a licensed dealer, and the State forms submitted along with the Federal forms.

1. someone would need to file a lawsuit |
|
IIRC your governor is anti-gun, so the only way I can think of to address the problem is to have someone file a lawsuit against either the State Police or the State of PA. Of course finding a lawyer and coming up with the money to bring the suit to court is probably why no one has filed suit already

is round up a few of those Pennsylvania Open Carry guys, hang a few firearms around your body, and go stand silently at a health insurance event of some sort.
Or maybe go watch a few kids' soccer games. Or hang out in a casual-dining restaurant, making sure to sit in the middle of the room where all the families celebrating birthdays have a good view of you.
That'll show 'em you mean business.
Maybe, in honour of the season, and just to silently mock anyone who thinks you've behaving boorishly, you could stick poinsettas up the barrels of the things.
Hey, just think, then you could claim religious persecution too if anybody bothered you.
