The ones in glass cases with plastic labels are actually from a SEDENA museum. The military has created a collection of weapons confiscated from drug busts.

The OP is absolutely misleading and it misrepresents true Mexican firearm collectors, who have to jump through a lot of hoops in order to obtain their permits...LEGALLY.

You'll notice that nobody's dismissed your story on the basis of the political leanings of the site you got it from, or even the fact that it's a some random guy on a discussion forum.

Instead, people have dismissed your story because it is not true, and they provided reasoned arguments and evidence why it's not true. Your source appears, in his rather breathless enthusiasm, to have mistakenly interpreted a collection of photos of stuff seized in multiple raids (practically a compendium of Mexican drug busts) as being taken from a single raid. And you were credulous enough to believe it.

See, that's how it's done: you don't just dismiss the message because you don't like it; you provide evidence and reasoned argument why you think it's incorrect. If you try really hard, it can even be done without casting aspersions on the character of the person who posted it.

Learn.
