Barbara Lipscomb: MM marcher, gun controller, murderer. |
|
Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham was convicted on nine counts of breaking seven different gun-control laws after she shot construction worker Kikko Smith. The other charges were: Carrying Pistol Without License, Unregistered Firearm, and Illegal Possession Of Ammunition. These are local Washington DC gun-control laws not federal laws.

3. RKBA "logic" or whatever it is... |
|
"A grieving mother convicted of shooting a young man she blamed for her son's killing was sentenced to 10 years to life yesterday in an unusual case that laid bare the despair and rage of the city's gun battles. "
And this tragedy is supposed to an argument for fewer gun laws and more guns? Fucking weird. No wonder Mary Rosh seems like a real scientist to some folks.

7. Classic False Dilemma or False Dichotomy |
|
Recounting a tragedy like Ms. Lipscomb's need not be construed as an argument for or against gun laws or guns. It's simply an illustration of the hypocrisy so common in extremists of all stripes, MrBenchley.
Tell us again how the Catholic Church supports gay rights.

4. She just didn't shoot the person... |
|
she shot the wrong person. Oh, and perhaps I should mention she was also found in possession of a TEC-9.
And lets not forget Carl Rowan; Pulitzer Prize winning columnist, and staunch anti-gun advocate who shot a teenager in the wrist for trespassing in his yard... in Washington DC.
Of course Carl argued that he had the right to use any means needed to protect himself and his family.

6. The Moral Of The Story |

For every good example of a gun owner/gun rights supporter, there is a bad example.

8. Anti-gunners like this remind me of the pro-choice bumper sticker |
|
I saw:
(paraphrased) "If you don't like guns, don't own one."
If we are really pro-choice, we should lay off the gun control and let the people choose.

13. Once again it's the anti-RKBA crowd's motto |
|
"Guns are bad for everyone - BUT ME!"
It's truly sad that, however much we RKBA proponents may disagree with their stance, those who truly oppose RKBA for whatever reason and practice their convictions are given a black eye such as this by so-called anti's.
On the bright side - LOOK MA! ANOTHER GUN GRABBER JUST GOT BITTEN IN THE ASS BY HER HYPROCRICY!

someone named Eric Kaplan who was anti-gun and was convicted of ...I don't remember what it was. He fired a gun towards his political opponents house and hit the guys wife some time in the mid 90's if I remember right.
I guess a google search is in order.

Check it out, I'm using google. http://www.law.fsu.edu/library/flsupct/89445/89445jur2.pdfIt appears to be a juristictional brief haveing to do with the 5th circut court of appeals. I will assume thats not a biased right wing document. There are also links to pro-gun sites that say he did it too. I found it in this search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22Eric+Kaplan%22++%22Robert+Starks%22&btnG=Google+Search
