"New Jersey has a well-chronicled history that led the Almanac of American Politics to once brand it ``the nation's most corrupt state.''"
Is anybody surprised?
"Russell Mokhiber, Corporate Crime Reporter's editor and the report's author, noted that because the index was calculated using convictions it is impossible to know how much corruption goes undetected there could be varied interpretations of the study's results"
I bet that most goes undetected and unprosecuted.
My Mom is from Jersey, she said it was awfully corrupt in Patterson. I have no reason to dis-believe her.
