City officials appointed a new commissioner — a retired city clerk — to fill the vacancy created by the arrest of suspended Mayor Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco.


Bushnell, the former vice mayor, was appointed mayor by her commission colleagues on March 9, following the suspension of Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco, who has pleaded not guilty to charges that she sold her vote to developers who contributed $21,000 through a political action committee to smear her opponents and support her 2006 mayoral campaign.

Do yourself a favor and search for it. Seems the chances of finding a criminal among MAIG members is VASTLY higher than the general public.

I'm thinking more along the lines of comparing them with say...CCW holders - as a group.
