Even close to Va Tech they think CC on college campuses is a good idea. So do I.

1. Your "they" is just an unscientific sampling of interested respondents.

This is meaningless.

3. It does say it is an unscientific poll
So we know it's all just opinion.

5. Except you said, "Even close to Virginia Tech, they think CC
on college campuses is a good idea" -- which implies that that is a popular opinion in that region. But an unscientific poll is no evidence of that.

13. Several college campuses already allow concealed carry
please point out the problems that have been caused by this on those campuses.

I carried a gun every single day of my college life, no blood in the streets , no throwing down on profs who didn't give me the grade I thought I deserved ,no stifling of the first amendment. None of the things the prohi crowd swears will happen if a gun ever enters the sacred halls of academia

11. The OP added a comment that "they" in the region supported CC on colleges.
As if the "they" stood for anyone outside a handful of self-selected respondents to the survey.

14. Don't you think you are being a bit nit-picky on this?
You seem to be going out of your way to try and discredit something already known not to be scientific.

2. Personally I think everyone needs at least a howitzer canon
just to make sure we're on an equal footing.

12. A howitzer is ,by definition, a cannon
wouldn't it have been easier for you to simply post " I haven't a clue what I'm talking about but I want to bash gun owners." ?

15. Since my meaning was obviously clear to you
I can only conclude that your snarking about a technical redundancy means that it would have been easier for you to post,
"I take great umbrage at your sarcastic remark about gun owners, so I'm going to insult you by saying you don't have a clue".

Happy now?

And in case you are interested a Howitzer is an artillery piece capable of firing indirectly at a high angle w/ a low charge ( as a mortar does)or firing directly at a low angle w/ a high powder charge (as a tank gun does) or any combination there of. While neither a mortar nor a tank gun can function in the opposite role

19. A small quibble.
Perhaps the word "ever " in place of "always". I appreciate you're trying to give him the benefit if the doubt but your kindness might be wasted here.
