All states need to do this!!! Prevent local communities from overriding state gun laws! Yup!

Indiana communities no longer may be permitted to regulate guns, ammunition or firearm accessories within their borders.

The Indiana House voted 77-21 for Senate Bill 292 on Monday, pre-empting all local ordinances that relate to guns and taking away the right of local governments to enact any gun-related provision different from state law.

State Rep. Mike Speedy, R-Indianapolis, the sponsor, said Indiana needs one set of gun laws because otherwise law-abiding gun owners could get tripped up unnecessarily by a local rule they may not even know about.

Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law-breakers - and then you cash in on guilt. Now, that's the system, Mr. Rearden, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
