After watching this several times, at the slowest speed, the orange flash is at the point of impact, and is not a starboard-launched missile.
As much as anyone, I think Bush was guilty of letting this happen, but commercial airliners aren't equipped with missiles, and this one didn't launch a missile at the tower before crashing into it.
Promoting this kind of hysteria ensures that other, more serious, investigations will be ignored.

Bah!
The moment of impact is instantaneous.
If you've ever been in a head on collision, IMO, same thing. Things are happening way too fast for someone to have the reflexes to be able to launch a missile and time it so that it leaves the undercarriage just before the plane collides with the building.
And to do so as to successfully render it invisible to the naked eye, yet still accomplishing it's nefarious mission...
Of course, this missile laden jet was just waiting on the runway at Logan to be loaded with passengers that day; no one who refueled the plane, or loaded baggage, saw anything suspicious on the underside, or anything...
