Or is it a lot quieter in here the last few days?
Anyway, last night was an "at home gun night" My neigbor came over and bought a Kel-Tec folding 9mm carbine from me, in exchange for some home repair work. Later, I cleaned all my carry guns. I then loaded my 29 magazines for my multiple AR-15 rifles with a total of 870 rounds for a shooting trip this weekend. I also cleaned my 1943 Yugoslavian Mauser in 8mm Mauser calibre. My ar mags are loaded with Silver Bear, Wolf, Olympic, Israeli, and Federal XM193 ammo. I finished off the evening with a fine port wine and retired to my chambers.

oh, now that I read your post...
Sounds like a very special evening for both you and your guns. Was your faithful dog at your feet?

Usual round of sincere attempts to debate being met by childish insults in the GITN thread, which I now mercifully cannot see.
Sometimes GITN offers interesting information, but losing the ability to see it seems to me a small sacrifice for a kinder, gentler DU.
Have fun plinking away your hundreds of rounds. The recent Federal XM193 is ugly as sin but shoots very nicely.
I also cleaned my 1943 Yugoslavian Mauser in 8mm Mauser calibre.
I loved my Yugo. Too bad I had to dump it in the drink with all of my other firearms.

They're all gone. Never again will I have to worry that any of my possessions will be declared "assault weapons" or other nemesis items by legislative fiat.

9. No, I just temporarily took leave of those |

Now I'm going through my hundreds of books looking for anything that might be considered subversive literature by anyone. I'm going to burn those this weekend along with all financial records over 10 years old.

Most of my brass will be steel, we use it instead of gravel in the walking areas.
