Irresistable gun porn
This is my wife's new toy. Alas, it's only a semi-auto, but I did find a legal 75 round drum magazine for it.

Here's the case:

1. That is some fantastic gun porn.
I love the case. It's a shame about those damned short barreled rifle regulations though.

6. The real hoot?
There's room in it for the Tommy gun, 3 stick mags and one drum mag. Talk about packing heat!

9. Now you just need the AWB to sunset
so someone can start cranking out cheap mags. There's something downright unsettling about a 10 round drum magazine that's made to look like a 50 round drum magazine and costs $171.

10. I got one 75 round drum now
Teh Tommy Gun Shop at Auto Ordnance sells recon. 30 round mags for $66.

When the sunset happens, I'm going shopping for real for drum and stick mags.

4. It will be lovingly cared for and used for plinking fun
alongside it's baby brother:

I've had the 1911 for a while. My wife got the bug for a Tommy Gun, and with me being the loving husband that I am, I got it for her. She already has a fedora, so it seemed like a logical accessory.

5. I understand completely.
I had one years ago, the 1928 full auto. I got talked out of it by a friend who was drooling over it and I had a new MP5, so it went to my pal.

Ask me how much my knee hurts from kicking my own butt for letting it get away.

I've got Marvin, so if they don't get along it's a deal breaker. also, could it be a puppy instead. I'm not a cat guy.

Generally I am conservative when it comes to spending money. I'm not ashamed of it, and I wish my state legislature would start acting more conservative in that regard.

8. It's true!
Edited on Tue Aug-10-04 09:43 PM by skippythwndrdog
I got my MP5 to play with. Honest!

Truthfully, she shoots more rounds per week than I do. Granted, most of hers are .22's and most of mine are .45's, but she puts away quite a few 9MM every week. I kid you not: she went through 2 P-89 barrels in the last year. She also has her CCW permit. AND! She cleans her own guns. What a woman!

edited to add,: Turn around and walk the other direction around that mountain. Your brain seems bruised from sloshing to the same side all the time. Even it out.

17. She shot over 40,000 rounds through it last year.
We probably should have replaced them sooner, but most of her shooting is practical close range. You don't need a perfect barrel to keep them all in the money when it's mostly under 10 yards. If she had been shooting mostly at 50 yards or over, I'd have replaced them at about 10,000 rounds or less. She's been know to go through upwards of 500 rounds per day. Thanks to Dillon for the 1000 or I'd be broke.

14. Tell me about it.
The best part is that it's

"belt"

fed (notice the emphasis on "belt"). That's right, no "girlie man" 50-75-100 rd magazine limitations.

This puppy keeps on humming and chugging along without having to stop for "refills". Granted, it might not have the "thrusts per squeeze" factor of
your wifes tommy-gun, but if you ever need a serial number obliterated, at least now you know who to call. B-)

Just an observation. If you want to belittle and mock the hobbys and interests of legitimate gun owners with comments like...

"Wonder how many progunners are spilling their Georgia Joy Juice over these pics".

what should prevent me from mocking "Trekkies"? (Yeah, I know, you guys catch enough shit as it is ).

"Want me to post pics of parodys of pro-gunners?"

Feel free as you like (I'd prefer to see something we haven't seen here before... if that's even possible).
