2. ban private cars in London |

Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 02:52 PM by Romulus
after all, no one in a city like London (with extensive public transit) NEEDS a car that can be easily stolen and/or misused to cause harm to others.
Only highly trained members of the police, government chauffeurs - and specially trained, registered & licensed taxi cab drivers - should have access to those death machines.
edited to add:
Anyone who would want to carry pepper spray, knife, or a handgun to defend themselves against someone like this foreseeable "Red car guy" is obviously paranoid and should choose to stay home.
And knives should be banned from everyone and anyone in public so this sort of thing would never happen.

3. Mental illness? That doesn't overide his right to carry guns does it? |
|
I mean, just because a guy's crazy or suffering from mental illness, he shouldn't be banned from owning guns should he/she? Isn't the crazy guy's Constitutional right to walk up and down the street carrying a loaded gun, more important than our right to NOT have a crazy guy walking up and down the street carrying a loaded gun?
