Police arrest Bethlehem teens who admit planning to stab Jews

Jerusalem police arrested two Palestinian teenagers Friday afternoon who said they were planning to stab Israeli Jews, Israel Radio reported.

The Palestinians, both 15, came from the West Bank city of Bethlehem to the nearby southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo armed with a knife, according to the report.

Police officers took them in for questioning, and the teens admitted they were planning to attack Jews. In addition to the knife, the teens were also carrying scarves identified with Fatah.

On Thursday night, Israel Defense Forces soldiers killed a Palestinian throwing a firebomb west of the West Bank city of Hebron.
