Court rejects Pollard's petition for Israel to act for his release
<snip>

"The High Court of Justice on Thursday rejected a petition submitted by Jonathan Pollard who was convicted of spying on behalf of Israel, demanding that Jerusalem acts for his release from an American prison.

A panel of three Justices accepted the state's argument that there was no room for legal intervention in diplomatic affairs.

Pollard was convicted twenty-one years ago of spying for Israel and was sentenced for life. All attempts bringing to his release have failed and he is currently being held at a North Carolina prison."

"In her verdict, Justice Ayala Prcaccia said "the petition was bound to be rejected for the reason that this court tends not to become involved in matters that mainly concern the complex relations between the U.S. and Israel."

"According to the state Israel is taking various measures to bring about Pollard's release, some of them on open channels, some in covert ways, and there is no room for judicial intervention in this matter," she said."

1. Richard Perle should be sitting in jail next to Pollard.

2. No Prisoner of Zion status for you, Mr. Pollard. P.S.: Don't cross Rafi.
Well, I reckon spying for cash isn't such a sweet deal after all, is it Mr. Pollard? Israel wasn't the only country he shopped the stolen information to and that's one of the reasons he's sitting in jail now and possibly until the day he dies.

He's had volumes of time to think over his crimes against the U.S. and Israel and he'll have volumes more. I can't say I'm sorry to hear he'll rot in jail. It was a very bad move to start putting this all on Rafi and throwing in with the settlers, to boot. He blames Rafi, Dershowitz blames Sharon and "the Jews", whatever that broad brush is really meant to imply. They can blame whomever they want. For the next 40 or 50 years, I'll wager.

With your antics you screwed over both the U.S. Government and Israeli citizens as well as Jews the world over.

There is one person who you have not blamed, though, and it may take the rest of your life before you come to grips with the fact that you are to blame. State secrets for money has never been and will never be a good deal. It's fool's money.

So no martyr status for you- you are no defender of Zion. You are just another greed-driven criminal.
