Seriously, I am really shocked if that's accurate.

His European trip was pretty close to a PR disaster.

5. In what realm
of reality are they? I can't see any reason that he could have gained only reasons for going lower.

7. We love those polls when they confirm our beliefs.
Don't like 'em too much other times.

8. Look what rasmussen says about Walmart
Edited on Thu Jul-20-06 05:23 PM by ovidsen
Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Americans have a favorable opinion of Walmart, including 29% who have a very favorable opinion of the retail giant.

10. If your poll is counting the number of corpses that raise their hand
if they disapprove, then there ya go.

11. I check Rasmussen polls daily because they show a trend in
Bush's approval ratings. They are consistently 5-7 points higher than most other poll figures for the same time period. I think it has something to do with how they weight their numbers according to party affiliation.

12. Israel is helping his numbers
Despite what you see on DU, most Americans are with Israel and Bush's strong support of the country is helping him. Even Hilary Clinton and Russ Feingold had nice words for him this week. Of course, the US' joke of a policy in Iraq has removed our clout in the region and will make it tougher to solve this problem. President Clinton managed to be pro-Israel yet be trusted enough by all the parties to bring us closer to peace.
