"The New Yorker reported on Monday that Israel has transferred intelligence information collected by its agents in Iran to the United States.
The information indicated that Iran has developed and tested equipment used for nuclear armament, the report said.
The American weekly said the White House has received the information but has yet to pass it on to the CIA, which recently determined that Iran remains far from being capable of producing a nuclear bomb.
The report raises some discrepancies between the CIA, White House and the Pentagon’s assessments on Iran. The CIA has not obtained conclusive evidence regarding the Iranian nuclear plan, and its assessment is based on technical intelligence information gathered by satellites and various tests, including the measuring of water samples’ radioactive levels."
