Islamic Jihad continues launching rockets at Israel
Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, and al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility on Sunday for firing five homemade rockets from Gaza at the Israeli town of Sderot.

"We claim responsibility for launching rockets as a natural reaction to what the Zionist occupation is doing, including incursions, assassinations and arrests in the West Bank," said Jihad's leaflet.

"We reiterate that there is no space to speak about a truce amid the continuation of the Zionist aggression on all our territories," it added.

1. Idiots
This ceasefire was the most hopeful thing to happen in a long time, and some are determined to derail it.

5. What an offensive statement
You'll let them live as long as they forget who they are?

7. I hope cooler heads prevail. If this is just one group, and there is clear effort on the
side of the Palestinians to try to stop it, then I hope all Palestinians won't be held responsible for their error.

Ceasefire breached: 2 Qassams fired from Gaza

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3333219,00.html

Rockets land in open areas in western Negev; no injuries, damage reported; incident marks second Palestinian breach of truce since it took effect Sunday morning; Sderot resident: We were all outside because we thought the firing had ceased

<snip>

"Two Qassam rockets fired from north Gaza Monday afternoon landed in open areas in the western Negev region; no injuries or damage were reported.

The incident marks the second time rockets were fired into Israel since the ceasefire took effect at 6 a.m. Sunday.

Sderot resident Odelia Peretz told Ynet, “The siren was activated and two minutes later the siren was heard once again; it was followed by a rocket landing in the distance.

“We were all outside because we thought the firing had ceased,” she said. “We thought the truce would hold; children were panicking, there was hysteria. The sound of the rocket landing was dim.”

A Palestinian source told Ynet that the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), a small armed faction, claimed responsibility for the attack."

9. If Hamas wants to prove that they are actually
committed to peace, they will find and arrest this "small armed faction" and actually hold to the ceasefire.

10. fact of the matter
someone will always have a bone to pick. some would say its justified and a good thing that folks in gaza want to relate to the folks in the west bank.

true a lot of bad stuff is still going on in the west bank but for now logic suggests rockets into southern israel isnt the best solution for west bank problems.

11. For now?
Do you expect unprovoked missile attacks on civilians will be a "solution" at some other time?

13. That's a lie, but you knew that already
And, of course, you dodge the issue that you apparently approve of Palestinian terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians.
