Israel's Netanyahu says he would not honour peace deal
Israel’s opposition leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said he would toss out any agreement between the current prime minister, Ehud Olmert and the Palestinians if elected to government.

He has told Israel’s major daily newspaper, Makor Rishon, that any peace deal with the Palestinians would not go ahead.

Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas relaunched peace negotiations in November after a seven-year breakdown.

Polls show that if elections were held today, Netanyahu would beat both Olmert and the Labor Party chairman, Defence Minister Ehud Barak.

2. Nothing is more dangerous than success.
I think that is largely what happened. Nuttyyahoo is an idiot, and Israelis will find that out again, if they elect him again.

4. A typical scumbag Israeli leader
Ducking and dodging peace at every turn.

These people are no better than their Hamas counterparts. Arguably worse.

6. No, not typical.
Sharon was a nasty right-wing hawk and enabler of terrorism, but he was not truly insane. I think Netanyahu is in some ways!

And, apart from all the many other moral and political reasons why Hamas should stop the violence: every rocket from Hamas is another contribution to the Netanyahu campaign.

And likewise most things that Netanyahu is likely to do would help to increase support for Hamas.

And thus things get worse and worse.

5. Urrrrggghhhhh!!!
I HOPE he doesn't get in. He is totally destructive in his attitudes. And he was an awful PM already.

I hope the Israelis see sense about him.
