Palestinians say attacked by masked settlers near Hebron
Edited on Sun Jun-08-08 11:52 PM by oberliner
Four Palestinian shepherds were assaulted Sunday evening by masked assailants near the West Bank settlement of Susya in the south Mount Hebron area. The Palestinians claim the assailants were Jewish settlers.

According to Palestinian news agency Wafa, among the victims was a 68-year-old woman who was evacuated to Beersheba's Soroka Medical Center in serious condition.

The remaining victims, including the woman's 70-year-old husband, sustained mild injuries and were treated by IDF paramedics at the scene. Hebron police were scouring the area in search of the attackers.

I know the Susya settlers are hard-core fanatics, but on Shavuot? Aren't they supposed to be in synagogue?

1. Why multipassport holding shysters want Olmer to go
In truth too many people now know what a fraud has become the once heroic Zionist dream. But no frauds are all my sabra friends who died defending their one and only homeland in war after war after war.... Perhaps they too should have taken their world-class high quality degrees from Israel's one product that is the best in the world--- higher education-- and run West with it to fine jobs, as did and do so many others in a mass reverse aliyah. The old farts who stay are not really staying, carrying multiple passports. Israeli Knesset Deputies that lose elections just come and run for office or take public sector jobs in the US using their Jewish connection. Almost every right wing "shoot-em-up" Likudnik has multiple passports and bank accounts abroad. They want sabras to die fighting to expend the Jewish state but, if the fight fails, they've gotten citizenship available where their US tax-payer money turned into shekels are banked. We now hear that in the midst of negotiations for a final settlement promised by Olmert, Israel is building 700 new settler homes for non-existent settlers. Of the housing units built to date, according to the US State Dept, 74% are empty. So these, like the rest, are only a case of creating expressionistic "facts on the ground" with empty buildings.

The old shysters and their neocon shyster friends meet each other en-route in reciprocal back and forth money laundering trips on multiple passports. And that's the "Jewish state" that instead of "shedding light onto the nations" is shedding darkness so it can wheel and deal unseen. Olmert is only the latest of every single other Israeli Prime Minister investigated for crooked deals with American largess supporting the shekel. But all the other PMs investigation cases were suddenly dropped for "raison d'etat." This guy, Olmert, is deemed crazy because he really wants a solution where young Israelis and Palestinians are no longer cutting short eachother's future with bloodshed. He actually wants a two states solution fair to all. So his case goes all the way to the jail cell. For all we know his accuser is a Likud shill. Nothing, after all, is to stand in the way of the Likud map of Israel as "the Jewish state between the two rivers, only for a Jewish people" like on the Israeli flag-- the Nile and the Euphrates. That's a hell of a lot more than the West Bank and Gaza. But as late as 1976, that was openly depicted on Likud literature as its goal. Now it has just gone quiet as it is slowly created lot by lot with empty buildings at US tax-payers' expense. Israel could be a "light onto the nations." If Iran goes nuclear the Sunni Arabs have nowhere to go for a deterrence umbrella but to Israel. And Iran only wants the bomb as a Shiite deterrence against the Sunnis. Technological growing up would lead to diplomatic growing up by Islam as it was in its glorious days of the past. But no, Israel wants the US to pay the blood and treasure price of keeping it dominant over the whole Mideast by invading Iran; that was the "World War IV" scheme the neocons cooked up in their delusional "A New Beginning" paper-- which even Netanyahu considered nuts.

I know Israel well and I knew very many Israeli sabras who died defending the only homeland they ever knew, so I wouldn't want their sacrifice to be in vain. But they knew nothing of the Holocaust Industry schmaltz used by the shysters with many passports to get rich through arms deals and land grabs. They only hoped that they could defend their LITTLE homeland long enough for the Arabs to see how good Israel is for their Arab cousins too: economically, educationally, culturally. My dead sabra friends thought of Israel leading the Arabs from one crop banana-type republics to high-tech regional democratic powerhouses and a wider distribution of wealth. Every Arab with a dream that I ever knew believed that only together--Arabs and Israelis-- could their dreams come through, for none trust the US or the EU as they trust their Jewish cousins. But the multipassport holder shysters have other plans: to turn the blood of Israeli sabras and Arabs into gold. These alchemists were rightly fingered by some of Zionism's elders, who named them: "Zeonazis."
