Gaza Group to Terrorists: Store Your Bombs Elsewhere
(IsraelNN.com) A Gaza-based organization has expressed "deep concern" at the recurrence of "internal explosions" caused by the manufacture and storing of weapons in civilian areas.

The PCHR (Palestinian Center for Human Rights) released its statement after Thursday's tremendous explosion in a large house in northern Gaza, which killed an infant, a 16-year-old and six terrorists. Forty people were wounded in the blast.

PCHR announced it is "deeply concerned about the recurrence of internal explosions as a result of weapons being manufactured, and stored, in areas populated by civilians. These actions are threatening the lives and property of Palestinian civilians."

PCHR further called upon "Palestinian resistance groups to take immediate measures and effective steps to ensure the non-recurrence of such explosions." Such measures were not spelled out, but the PCHR warned "of the dangers caused by continued manufacturing or storage of explosive devices by Palestinian resistance groups in civilian-populated areas, which threaten the lives of Palestinian civilians and violate international humanitarian law."

The PCHR announced that its investigation had found that early Thursday afternoon, June 12, "a huge explosion occurred in a 400-square-meter house belonging to Abdul Azim Khaled Hammouda... The house was completely destroyed and dozens of neighboring houses were also damaged, five of them seriously. Ambulances and civil defense crews rushed to the area, and removed victims' bodies from beneath the ruins of the destroyed house and neighbouring houses."

Terrorists Killed "Preparing for Jihad Mission"
The Izzaddin al-Kassam Brigades, the official armed wing of Hamas, stated in a press release the next day that six of its members were killed "while they were in the final stage of preparation for a special Jihad mission." The six would-be murderers ranged in age from 20 to 32. Blame was originally apportioned to Israel for attacking the house.

The Associated Press reported that "dozens of Palestinian militants" have been killed in accidents while "mishandling explosives. "

1. Here is the link to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights article
I do not recommend using Israel National News (aka Arutz Sheva) as a source since they are a far-right news source. They claim to be the voice of the "Israeli settler movement".

Here is the link to the article they are citing:

Stop This Tragedy!

PCHR Concerned Over Casualties Caused by Continuing Internal Explosions: 8 Palestinians, Including a Child, Killed and More than 40 Injured After Explosion in Beit Lahia

2. Thanks for the heads-up
I appreciate it, however I believe the story still remains the same.

Bomb making is a dangerous and risky business and certainly exposing children, even your own, to such activity is worse than irresposible, it's criminal.

4. The total lack of
regard for the safety of the children reminds me of when Golda Meir said, "The Arabs will stop fighting us when they love their children more than they hate Jews"

Why would anyone who loves his family even consider building a bomb in his own home?

5. What a pity you chose to ignore that advice...
This is the fourth article I've seen you post from Arutz Sheva. Is there some reason yr not capable of finding stories from reputable sources that aren't bigoted? If I wanted to read crap from Arutz Sheva I'd go to LGF or some other Arab-hating cesspit. Could you please put a bit of thought into what you choose to post and not post from blatantly bigoted sources?

7. People post from a variety of sites, as long as they are permissable on the forum
You are not the forum administrator, who can tell people what they can or cannot post, and you certainly have no authority to tell people to go and post on right wing sites.

Get a life.

8. And people tend to get told by other posters when they're posting from bigoted sources...
You've never had a problem when anyone else points out that a site is bigoted or extreme (oberliner's pointed out the same thing). For a change try reading what people actually say instead of making up stuff that was never said. I never told notfullofit to go and post on a right-wing site, nor what he can or can't post.

Get a life? Oh, ouch! What's next in yr witty repertoire? Calling me a pooh-head? ;)
