Gaza militants fire 13 Qassams, 23 mortar shells into Israel on Sat.

Palestinian militants in Gaza on Saturday pelted southern Israel with a total of 13 Qassam rockets and 23 mortar shells, one of which slammed into the clubhouse of a kibbutz near the Hamas-ruled territory.

The mortar attack on the kibbutz, which caused no casualties, came only hours after an Israel Air Force strike against a Qassam rocket squad killed a militant in the Hamas-ruled territory.

The mortar shell hit the roof of the clubhouse, which was vacant at the time, and caused substantial damage to the building.

Unfortunately, the people of Gaza seem to be stuck with them, and don't seem so unhappy with that, since they widely support Hamas, despite their ongoing misery.

It's very puzzling how sane people could support a government which causes them so much heartache.
