A matter which reflects the doubts between the two countries despite the peace agreement signed between them since 1979.
This statement by the Israeli official was of great significance because it came after the beginning of a good-intention visit by the director of the Egyptian intelligence Lt. Gen. Omar Suliman to discuss reaching a truce between the Palestinian groups and Israel.
The Israeli official who is from the Likud party chaired by prime minister Ariel Sharon said in unprecedented statements against Egypt to the Israeli radio " what is taking place is very dangerous because an element hostile to Israel is introduced to the Palestinian arena which is in my view also stand against the peace process in Egypt."
