New Law for Israeli-Palestinian Couples
Sorry if it's a dupe

JERUSALEM - Israel's parliament passed a measure Thursday that would force Palestinians who marry Israelis to live separate lives or move out of Israel. The government said the law was necessary to prevent terror attacks, but critics called it racist.

The law, to be in effect for one year, would prevent Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip (news - web sites) who marry Israeli Arabs from obtaining residency permits in Israel.

In pushing the measure, Israel's government cited instances in which Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza have exploited their residency permits — which grant them freedom of movement in Israel — to carry out terror attacks.

First the 'Friendship Wall' now this.

3. hmmmm
sounds like the past is repeating itself.israel has turned on its self and is slowly rotting from the inside...where has the humanity of the israeli dream gone? does the average israeli agree with this?
there is no more road map. the israeli government is doing everything it can to provoke the palestians and so far the palestinians have refused to strike back.
it never stops

4. Israelis have tried bullets, bombs, and bulldozers, Why not beds?
As any Israeli can legitmately point out. No one is forcing these Palestinians to marry each other.

5. My Humble Opinion
And the Germans legitimately pointed out, that no one forced Germans
to marry German or non-German Jews during WWII.

So let's see, state sposored racism, a wall built around an area populated by people of another race and religion, does any of this sound like it happened before.

I guess you could say that the Israelis learned their lessons well
from the Nazis.

Go ahead and flame me, but I'm sick and tired of seeing American children go without health care, American elderly having to choose between food and medication, and American homeless not even being cared for. While this government gives Israel $12 billion dollars a year.

He's something, if Israel is truly the chosen nation of God, then they will be taken care of if we stop giving them money, right?

And I think it's high time that people from other countries who claim to be Americans, start showing that allegience, if you're loyalties are divided then maybe it's time to make up your minds. This applies to Asians, Arabs, Jews, Hispanics, Africans, Cubans, Europeans, and
anyone else that I may have forgotten.

You see as an American I don't have a safety net, I and other Americans born here don't have the right of return, we don't have
some where else to run to. We will make our stand here. Anyone care to
join us?

13. The oppressed becomes the oppressor
The oppressed becomes the oppressor. Some kind of horrible karmic whiplash. You would think they would be the first to see the evil of what they are doing.

11. I meant that...
a claim that the US pays $12 billion yearly to Israel is ridiculous.

Remember, those $4 billion include both economic aid and military aid.

15. atreides could have confused
the annual $3 billion check to Israel with this years Grand Prize payout, which I think the two combined totalled $12 billion. Of course, when I say "Grand Prize payout" I am referring to the aid package which most everyone in Congress gleefully handed over to Sharon on his request a few months back.

I am not clear on the exact numbers either, so please correct me if I am mistaken.
