Anti-Semitic attacks have been making headlines, but strikes against many minorities—Jews, Muslims, Roma, gays—are all too common in Europe. <In light of the EU report, this may become pertanent to I/P discussions> http://www.time.com/time/europe/magazine/article/0,13005,901031208-552065,00.html

note to all the "Team Israel" folks, plug that line in next time you are defending Israel against the standard accusations and see what happens...oho...

that racism is wholly immoral, regardless of how common it may be. That is the crucial difference.

...that these incidents decreased in France this year. Did the French make any policy changes to reverse the trend?
Pretty good article, but a little heavy on the anecdotes.
Somewhat unrelated, but what's up with the article's date: Dec. 8, 2003?

while the articles are published beforehand on the internet.
I don't know for sure, though.

11. So this is the European edition? |
|
Europeans being self critical?
Doesn't that counter the 'circle jerk dogma' used here?
"Anti-Semitic attacks have been making headlines, but strikes against many minorities—Jews, Muslims, Roma, gays—are all too common in Europe."
So what does this statement say? If a Jew is attacked it makes headlines but others only get the fine print? Again, that doesn't fit the 'circle jerk dogma'
Yup, those Europeans are somehow different than the rest of us....
Americans and Israeli's are somehow above racism.
Ya, and Carl Lewis ran the 100 meters clean. Jingo bells, jingo bells, jingo all the way

13. And how does North America differ? |

?
Did Jews from Europe bring their xenophobia with them to Israel? What did American Jews bring?
