IOF Brutally Beat up a Palestinian for Protesting Women Search
maybe you American taxpayers would be interested in this story.

http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_e/ipc_e-1/e_News/news2003/2003-08/057.html

Israeli occupying troops brutally beat up a Palestinian citizen after he interfered and objected to the humiliating way the soldiers search the women he was escorting.

The IOF troops, stationed at Deir Ballout military roadblock, which is actually a large steel gate, assaulted Citizen Jawad, no last name was disclosed, from Barqin Village when he was escorting some women through the roadblock. The soldiers dragged Jawad to a nearby tent, while the women were kept near the roadblock, without being allowed to go back to their taxi.

The troops closed the gate in front of the long line of cars waiting to pass through, so as nobody could bear witness to horrible crime, an eyewitness, who was behind the victim's car told IPC correspondent.

"We saw the soldiers gathering around a man and beat him up brutally. I couldn't watch them; they were acting like predators, beating him with anything they could reach: their rifle butts, boots, hands and clubs. I started shouting and crying with other women, demanding the soldiers to stop this cruelty," added the eyewitness, with tears filling her eyes.

No details have been revealed about the condition of Citizen Jawad until this moment, as no ambulances were able to go through and assist him.

4. Propaganda
The nice thing about your use and the use in the articles of the term "IOF" means that they are merely propaganda and need to be viewed as such.

8. No reason to believe the report
IF a Palestinian man, woman or child was beaten unjustly, I am against it. But when you choose biased sources for your information, you lose credibility.

a rose is a rose is a rose?

IOF is the proper terminology. You prefer the 'sanitized' version, non?

This is piece is from the PA press office. Of course they will use their official language. Pretty much all of the Arab world uses the term IOF.

If the Israeli's call everybody that resists the occupation a terrorist - is that slanted then, too? - I mean if fairness prevails?

Edited for spelling.

7. It's just a way of showing how determined
one can be in ignoring the aggression of the Israeli military; after all the church we're in here is the House of Israel Worship - where very few will ever learn to see things from outside the fundamentalist perspective.
