Jews against Zionism
Jews Against Zionism: The idea that Zionism and the State of “Israel” is the protector of Jews is probably the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the Jewish People. Indeed, where else since 1945 have Jews been in such physical danger as in the Zionist state?! <http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/opposition/cannonfodder.htm>
We implore and beseech our Jewish brethren to realize that the Zionists are not the saviors of the Jewish People and guarantors of their safety, but rather the instigators and original cause of Jewish suffering in the Holy Land and worldwide. The idea that Zionism and the State of “Israel” is the protector of Jews is probably the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the Jewish People. Indeed, where else since 1945 have Jews been in such physical danger as in the Zionist state?!
Jews are enjoined by their religious laws to be loyal to the country of which they are citizens. ever since the destruction of the holy Temple in Jerusalem and the exile of the Jewish People some two thousand years ago, we have been enjoined to be scrupulously loyal to the countries we reside in, One of the great biblical prophets, Jeremiah, in chapter 29 of his book proclaimed G-d's message to all the exiled; verse seven reads, "Seek out the welfare of the city to which I have exiled you and pray for it to the Almighty, for through its welfare will you have welfare." This has been a cornerstone of Jewish morality throughout our history to this very day.
Torah-true Jews wish to live in peace and harmony with their neighbors in every country among the community of nations, including in historic Palestine. They deplore acts and policies of violence carried out by those who, misusing the name of Israel our forefather, have substituted the ideal of chauvinist nationalism for the eternal values of the Torah, the eternal divinely bestowed inheritance of the Jewish people."

Give me the money that has been spent in war and I will clothe every man, woman, and child in an attire of which kings and queens will be proud. I will build a schoolhouse in every valley over the whole earth. I will crown every hillside with a place of worship consecrated to peace: Charles Sumner

4. I have no right to comment on the words Jews Against Zionism,
however this article is a breath of fresh air. When exposed to the Israel protectors in the right wing administration and not noticing any collective opposing view, one wonders whether the Israel protectors dominate. I am not against Israel and I am for the Palestinians. If that's possible. I believe it is for those with open hearts.

8. Well, for these particular people...
many of them being religious fanatics who wouldn't hesitate to endorse the mass slaughter of innocent Muslims if they thought God wanted them to, that label may fit.

Political anti-Zionists, however, often have quite reasonable arguments.

9. Do you even know what zionism is?
Edited on Tue Mar-30-04 11:06 PM by Djinn
to state that any Jew who is not a zionist is a "moran" seems to me to show a total lack of knowledge of BOTH Judaism and Zionism (which is secular by the way)

There are and always have been many Jews against Zionism - they beleive it goes against the teachings of the Torah - for example Neturei Karta and True Torah Jews. There are also many secular Jews (or I guess to be more accurate - culturally Jewish people) who oppose Zionism and the creation of Israel because it was built on a lie "A land without people" was always bullshit and bigoted and hateful to those people living there at the time.

Disagree with someone if you want to - calling someone a "moran" with no justification isn't a very good argument

The Yishuv Jews were morans.

Try finding out something about the subject before you comment.
