"A week after their overwhelming victory against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s disengagement plan at the Likud referendum, settlers are preparing for their next battle - against outpost dismantlement. The outpost removal orders issued by the Prime minister over the weekend did not come as a surprise and the settles are ready for the struggle.
Intelligence sources will notify settlers when outposts are about to be removed via text messages on their mobile phones. As soon as the information comes through, hundreds of settler youth will be dispatched to the area to try and stop soldiers from dismantling the outpost. Settlers intend to rebuild any dismantled outposts as quickly as possible.
According to settler leader Yehoshua Mor-Yossef, settlers have been preparing for the outpost struggle for the past six months. Mor-Yossef believes that this time Sharon is determined to dismantle outposts as a personal vendetta for his defeat in the Likud referendum. “Where was he (Sharon) for the past six months? He could have pressed the button and removed outposts at any moment. This shows that now there is a direct link to the referendum results”, said Mor-Yossef."

"A spokesman for the Shai district police, Inspector Doron Benamo, said the police have not changed their regulations in wake of the expected outpost showdown, “as soon as we get the order we will implement it”, he said."
