Israeli soldiers continue killing spree

Israeli occupation forces are continuing their Bait Hanun siege and have killed a number of civilians across Palestine.

The latest incident, in which grenades were flung at two youths, took place in Saida village north of Tulkarim in the West Bank.

Israeli occupation troops entered the village at 3am on Monday.

Two Palestinian men, Sahir Ajash and Basil Abu Shab, both in their late twenties, died in the attack.

According to witnesses, a grenade was thrown on to a porch where Abu Shab was sleeping. The explosion left half his body blown off from the waist down. Another unexploded grenade was found on the porch.

Ajash apparently fled but was later found dead with bullet wounds to the head, witnesses said.

Residents reported that the Israeli soldiers invaded the village in a number of military vehicles and a bulldozer and demolished part of house in the area where the men's bodies were found.

After the killings, one Israeli military vehicle remained while the rest moved out, and an angry, distraught crowd threw stones at the vehicle. A number of Israeli Jeeps returned and fired at the crowd, before finally withdrawing at about 2pm, witnesses and medical volunteers told Aljazeera.net.

IDF officer seriously injured in W. New plan for separation fence route nearing completion The planning of the new route of portions of the separation fence northwest of Jerusalem, ordered by the High Court, is to be completed this week. The new routing will be presented to Defense Ministry Director General Amos Yaron, after which it will be submitted for approval by Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.The High Court ruled that the fence must limit damage to Palestinian civilians living along it. The key issue in the routing is how close the fence will pass to Israeli homes in towns along the Green Line, like Har Adar and Mevasseret Zion, which border Palestinian agricultural areas. The security establishment has decided to move the fence closer to these communities to reduce damage to Palestinian farmers.A different solution is required for the area along the Jerusalem-Modi'in road, Route 443. Here, the fence will pass south of the road, from the Latrun area to the community of Beit Horon. From there to the north and the west, localized solutions will be found so the fence will not enclose Palestinians within enclaves.It has also been decided to take the High Court ruling into consideration with regard to areas not scrutinized by the court. The planning of the southernmost portion of the fence, from Jerusalem to the area of Taqumiya near Hebron, is in its final stages, with construction due to start soon, and the security establishment is trying to find solutions for Palestinian villages that were to find themselves enclosed in enclaves near the Etzion BlocSome NIS 50 million have been budgeted for gates and passageways to ease life for the Palestinians living near the fence. The cost of constructing a tunnel between the northern West Bank towns of Qalqilyah and Habla, cut off from each other by the fence, is also included in this budget.In Jerusalem, construction of the fence along municipal boundaries will continue, security sources believe, without the High Court intervening. The main problem that planners face in the capital is finding technological means to allow tens of thousands of Palestinians to get to their jobs and back home every day. Solutions must provide security but avoid a repetition of the situation at the Erez checkpoint in the Gaza Strip, where Palestinians have had to line up at 2 A.M. in order to get to the checkpoint by morning.

6. aljazeera certainly should report the news from their point of view - but

there is a lot more news out there than one aljazeera story.

Indeed aljazeera does report a lot more than IDF is evil - although I would not say it is balanced or fair, I trust it not to lie - unlike our own FOX CABLE NEWS folks.
