Report: IAF missiles hit car in Gaza, killing two

An explosion ripped through a car in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah on Thursday afternoon, killing two people in the militant stronghold, Palestinian medics said.

The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear, though Palestinian sources said they saw an Israeli helicopter firing missiles at the car.

The missiles reportedly hit the car as it was nearing the entrance of the Gaza town of Rafah, not far from the Egyptian border, the Palestinian sources said.

Earlier Thursday, two Qassam rockets landed in the southern town of Sderot. Magen David Adom paramedics treated nine residents for shock.
