Hamas executes Palestinian man, says he worked closely with Israel

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Hamas militants said they killed a Palestinian who they blamed for helping Israel assassinate the group's founder and nine others. The man's bullet-riddled body was found yesterday dumped near a trash can on a Gaza street.

Palestinian militants have killed dozens of alleged informants in the West Bank, but such attacks have been rare in the Gaza Strip, where the Palestinian security services still function to some degree.

Hamas said the killing was a warning to other collaborators.
