AIPAC Probe Intensifies

A federal prosecutor's decision to bring an investigation involving the American Israel Public Affairs Committee to a grand jury is, at the least, an unwanted distraction at a critical time for the top Israel lobby — and some worry that it could hamper the organization's effectiveness.

1. Rumsfeld's strategy will be "blame the Jews"

Because fascism works best when you can scapegoat the Jews.

They've been saying for months that the alleged Israeli spy worked with Rummy's aid on the issues surrounding Iraq. They're going to say that a Jewish Israeli spy "tricked" us into invading Iraq, and blame the whole failure on AIPAC.

And this at a time when anti-semitism and anti-Israeli sentiment is at an all time high.

Now, I am not an Israeli apologist, but I believe Israel is not ENTIRELY to blame for the whole Palestinian mess. The problem is there are godwhacked fuckwads on BOTH sides, and meanwhile the American dominionist Talibornagain Christians are doing their best to add fuel to the fire.

And certainly there are very, VERY many Israelis and Jews who actively come to the aid of the Palestinians. Some of them are EXTREMELY pro-Palestinian.

And something like 85% of Jews vote Democrat.

Which is another reason why Bush is setting us up for a new Krystalnacht.

In any case, first they will come for the Muslims, then for the Homosexuals, and then for the Jews. And somewhere between the Jews and the Catholics, they will come for the illegal immigrants, the environmental activists, the racial minorities, the handicapped, the liberals, the and intellectuals.

I only wish they would come for the spammers first.

by the way conflating AIPAC with being Jewish so as to make the fall of that organization equal to an attack on Jews is dishonest. Most jewish people in the U.S. could give a shit about that group.

I don't know how much you have been around the Jewish american community but AIPAC is a well respected organization in the community
and a lot of Jews are concerned as they were with Jonathan Pollard
