1. Isn't KPFA one of those, how do you say LIBRUL radio stations? |
|
If Dr. Griffin is on KPFA, then shouldn't we be trying to discourage people from listening by making it seem like he's some kind of a nutcase if he's on that kind of station? After all, haven't they had other people on there that hold crazy notions like JFK was murdered in a CONSPIRACY and the Iran-Contra business was a CONSPIRACY and well, you get the idea.

2. Actually, some of my Californicator friends have grumbled to me |

that KPFA really doesn't want to cover 9/11 issues. Bonnie Fauklner's Guns and Butter has been a rare exception in this regard.
(The funny thing is that they give away 9/11 videos as a premium when it's fund-raising time, but they're reluctant to cover 9/11 issues in their regular programming.)

and the main reason is probably the same for why "The Nation" and Alexander Cockburn ("Counterpunch") avoid the subject (other than to make the kind of snide remarks that we here are all too familiar with). It's because they all receive funding from the FORD Foundation, which is alleged to have close ties to the CIA (in one way or another).
Forgot to mention the Sainted "Amy Goodman", who is the Queen Mother of all 9/11 gatekeeperss.
