9/11: Michael Chossudovsky connects the real dots

While the Bush administration takes the blame, the "war on terrorism" and its humanitarian mandate remain functionally intact.

Meanwhile, everybody has their eyes riveted on the fact that Bush officials lied under oath regarding the terrorist warnings.

Yet nobody seems to have begged the key question:

What is the significance of these warnings emanating from the intelligence apparatus, knowing that the CIA is the creator of Al Qaeda and that Al Qaeda is an "intelligence asset".

In other words, the CIA is the sponsor of Al Qaeda and at the same time controls the warnings on impending terrorist attacks.

In other words, are Bush officials in sworn testimony to the 9/11 commission lying under oath on something which is true, or are they lying on something which is an even bigger lie?

Excellent historical perspective and gets at the central issue of 9/11: MIHOP? Yep, in spades. Courtesy of some of the same hands (Rumsfeld, Powell, Armitage, Cheney, et al) working on it for 20+ years, since the early Reagan times.

Yes, the Bush Administration ignored the warnings and lied about it before the (stacked) commission.

But even more -- if they were taken by surprise by 911, why did they know to go after Saddam and bin Laden in their verbal attacks immediately?? Doesn't anyone besided Moslem Fundamentalists resent captialism, imperialism, military hegemonism etc.? -- anyone who can get their hands on such exotic weaponry as boxcutters, that is.

Say you are Wolfowitz, assistant Secretary of Defense, who tells the figurehead Sec. of Defense what to do and say etc. (on the REAL organization chart of power)

why if the Pentagon was just hit that very day -- would you focus on getting Saddam Heussein who has not been connected with any terrorism of this type -- or would you want real fine massive detective work to find the specific perpetrators, the people who last shook the hand (or whatever sign of solidarity was used) with the hijack terrorists etc. But this is exactly what no one in the administration showed any interest in doing -- instead of a specific investigation, there was a generalized response against terror in general -- not even knowing (since they say they didn't have a clue the day before) excactly who was behind the attack. And on top of THIS we have the fighting of an investigation, the appointment of Kissinger (who was working with WOlfowitz, Perle, Gingrich at the Pentagon right up to Sept. 11, 01 !!!) to be head the commission!!!!

Someone offered me a plane ticket to Toranto, but my dad has had a bladder removed (he was great before the operation) and now doesn't like the new plumbing and is refusing to eat or get out of bed etc. even as my eldest daughter is about to be married next month.

Sure glad we are all certain that John Kerry isn't a part of any of this. I plan to retire from politics as soon as Kerry is elected and I can breath easy, don't you?

2. Where is everyone else on this?

Dick, thanks in no small measure to your diligent work the 9/11 truth is gradually being exposed. I'm a relative newcomer to all this (3 months or so). Despite being a news junkie and quite liberal, i never allowed myself to believe that the official story could be complete bunk. it was only when i dove into the various 9/11 web sites that i began to put the puzzle together in my own mind. And it took a series of "official" 9/11 commission contradictions to convince me that more was being hidden than "lack of funding", "incompetence", and "failure to connect the dots."

I am surprised that the article I posted didn't get more notice. I know many will not agree with it, but that's why it's up here, to be challenged and reviewed. I'm new here and was hoping to see what everyone else thinks of it.

Are we all that distracted with Iraq and Kerry v. Bush?

3. Some news, awake..

Ya see, what you posted is not news to most of us. It is "knewed" <grin> already. Welcome to this corner of the web!

Dick brought up a new point, however. Why is it that no one else has ever been arrested for 9/11? Not a single landlord, or friend, or finacier, or nothing. The official conspiracy theory holds that while the 19 were here for months and months, they were complete loners who had no contacts or friends or supporters of any kind. Wow. Kinda implausable, wouldn't ya say?

Also: How come not one government employee hasn't even so much as gotten their hand slapped? Ya mean to tell us that not one person failed in their duty that day? Makes ya think they were all in it together, eh? Protecting themselves and all that.

Anyway, welcome to DU, awake, and don't let anyone ever convince you to believe the official conspiracy theory of 19. That theory is the whackiest of 'em all.
