I am open-minded about MIHWAP. The twelve planes theory could also be true. |

I approach this question scientifically, unlike the commercial conspiracy theorists who have only one theory apiece. I actually am not set on the idea that they made it happen with a potato. I think the twelve planes theory is pretty compelling as well. If twelve planes hit the twin towers, that would also explain the powerful "side blasts" we saw. Digital fakery could have dubbed out any of the twelve planes easily.
Even analog fakery could have been used to hide the evidence. We have all seen the weather man on television appear to be in front of a map which isn't really there. What if the skies around the WTC were dubbed in with a "blue screen", so that you do not see the planes approaching, only the powerful "side blasts" which would be dubbed in front of the sky. This technology was available over thirty years ago, and doesn't take a genius to figure out.

there's a moment when arguments about 9/11 stray from combustion physics, metallurgy, structural engineering, and the politics of terrorism and counter-terrorism, and into pure epistemology.
So, I'm increasingly open to the following theories:
1. The ENTIRE THING was faked, and the towers are still there.
2. The attacks, aftermath, and debate over whether it was an inside job or not, are actually all a figment of my imagination.
3. As 2, but everything, including this comment is a figment of someone else's imagination.
But good luck with MIHWAPO12P.

By going to the extreme you made me realize some CT'er are creating their own meaning of reality. Once you start doing that 12 planes is a walk in the park.

8. Or, maybe the Twin Towers never existed at all. |
|
They were just holographic projections. Workers went into doors each day, thinking they were going into the WTC, but the elevators really just moved them into ordinary office buildings around NYC.
This explains 911 neatly. That real estate was very expensive and Silverstein couldn't build anything on it without some plausible story explaining the disappearance of the towers.
You couldn't just turn off the holograms, don't you see.

3. I'm open to that theory, yeah. |

Twelve is more of a lower bound, but as you point out, there could have been more.
But there would have been at least:
2 seen on TV 4 for one hitting each side of tower one to collapse it 4 for one hitting each side of tower two to collapse it 2 hitting tower seven after they said they would pull it

You want -evidence- or something? Logic?
Forget it.

14. Are 100 planes possible? "I haven't studied that enough to be sure." |

There's an opinion floating around that you could simulate Truther Dialog with a simple computer program.
I think that's true.

13. Do you have any comment on the theory? Can you prove it is not true? |
|
In what way is the Multi-Plane Theory less reasonable than the No Plane Theory? Or the Space Death Beam Steel Dustification Theory? Or the Controlled Demolition Theory?
Just explain. I don't see the difference.

Your choice.

Maybe had DU not scrapped super-ignore, leftstreet wouldn't have been able to kick this at all, and you wouldn't have been able to reply to me, and we would have been denied this bonding experience. So it's not all bad.
PS I liked super-ignore. I'm wishing we still had it.

Can you -prove- there were not 12 planes?
Didn't think so.

... and then there are potato heads. Baked, mashed or fried, I can't quite decide which way you are serving this dish. But it does look half baked, then mashed and fried, and it looks like you do have serving staff at your beck and call.
But I'm not buying and there will be no tip.
