Deconstructing the Naudets’ propaganda film

Calculate the odds. Two French filmmakers, the Naudet brothers, are filming a documentary about a young, probationary fireman, Tony Benetatos, on September 11, 2001. Before the awful events yet to come, Tony is left alone at the 100 Duane Street fire station while Jules Naudet, the firemen and truck swing left from station, drive to the first corner, turn right onto Church Street, and drive seven blocks north to Lispenard Street and Church to investigate the report of an exterior gas leak.

Then, while the fire team is investigating, Jules Naudet doesn’t film them. For some reason, he turns his camera south, carefully finds a clear view, past the 440-foot high AT&T building, of the Twin Towers. Then, with a nano-window of six seconds in which to catch Flight 11 stream from behind the AT&T building at 450 mph, he catches perfectly the last two seconds of the hit into the North Tower at 8:46.30 am, what’s commonly known in the film business as “The Money Shot.” So, calculate the odds.

To lend reality to the shot, Jules pans 90 degrees to the east. The pan ends with the exact centering of the North Tower in the frame (though the South Tower is right behind it, a degree more to the east). But the North Tower is centered pristinely before Flight 11 zooms from the north to southwest to slam the focused Tower at the 94th floor. Calculate the odds of putting your camera lens exactly where Flight 11 would make a perfect bull’s-eye. That is, unless the event and direction of the stolen flight was known to you for enough time to practice at the perfect location to shoot, almost from straight behind it.

The Naudets’ piece obviously sits on top of the pile, though it all has a vile odor of corruption. In any event, Leslie Raphael’s web piece is a blast of fresh river air tainted with the fishy. Check this one out before it too is gone with the wind, the rubble of 9/11, the rodents who participated in it, and the souls who innocently lost their lives in it, or trying to save others, or even just clearing the site. You will find Raphael’s ire and relentless questioning uplifting, particularly in an age dumbed down by the non-questioning sheeple of major media.

1. This is why the debunkers get to poke fun all day

It's not that it's physically impossible that the Naudet Bros. had foreknowledge, and that this whole documentary was somehow set up to catch the event. (Did the firefighters of that Engine Company know? Are they actors in a hero-propaganda film? Hey, they all had the gall to survive 9/11, "who's to say"?*)

To believe this, you have to read all of the signs one way. What I see is that the cameraman hears a plane flying very low overhead (shockingly so) and then has the instinct to track it, and is lucky enough to catch the event (just barely). Out of the hundreds of cameras that were probably being operated on the streets of lower Manhattan in just that moment, this guy was the lucky one.

Now, if he knew it was coming, why didn't he just set up the shot from an angle 90 degrees further North, so that he could have his subject and the Towers both in frame, and not risk missing it? If the master conspirators wanted a nice clean shot of the first tower hit, why didn't they have a single planted "student" coincidentally filming the towers for an art-school project? From a tripod? At full resolution?

The Naudet Bros and their firefighter subjects were at that corner because of a broken water main. I guess this means someone in the conspiracy broke the water main - and then called it in to Engine Co. 1 - and timed it perfectly, so that the truck and the French filmmakers would get through traffic and set up the shot just in time to catch the strike... phew!

Now, this ludicrous hypothesis does nothing to establish probable cause for a new investigation. It is not necessary for questioning the official story. It just adds a claim (that is impossible) to defend.

It adds nothing whatsoever to an "inside job" hypothesis.

I suppose you could say, let's subpoena the Naudet Bros. (instead of Condoleezza Rice or Dick Myers) and make'em tell us how they knew! Torture'em 'til they confess!

Ideas like this extend the number of fully-initiated conspirators into the hundreds and thousands. Most of them performing entirely unnecessary functions. (The Mighty Wurlitzer would have been capable of creating war propaganda without needing to set up this documentary in advance.)

By the way, how does Naudet Bros. foreknowledge theory fit in with No Planes theory? Just wondering. Do No Planes people think the Naudet Bros. were genuine? If so, why would the Bros. provide the "evidence" that counters the official story? Is this an intentional "hang-out"? Are you no-planes?

Meanwhile, perjury, obstruction and destruction of evidence charges that would unravel the whole 9/11 complex are staring us in the face - Rice, Myers, Tenet...

Speaking of which, the term "money shot" refers to the second Tower strike (the far more spectacular one since everyone was by then pointing their cameras at the Towers).

Bang on. For every one-in-a-million event, there are 999,999 that *don't* happen. Which, on any given day in New York, gives you quite a few one-in-a-million events that will surely happen.
