Why is the Iraqi Resistence called "terrorists?"
I guess the same reason that the occupied and brutalized and abused Palestinians are called "terrorists" "militants" and "Islamic extremists."

2. freedom fighters also comes to mind
but none dare call them that.

and they aren't doing anything 'patriotic' americans wouldn't do to resist a tyrannical invader that had come to steal our resources and subvert our culture.

try to lose your anglo-centric world view, cause the iraqi's and the rest of the world don't see this immoral invasion as 'liberation'.

the iraqi's are trying to expell a tyrannical foriegn power that has come to steal their resources and subvert their culture. they want the US out they want the UN out. and I don't blame them.

and don't bring up the 'bringing democracy to the ME' spin. the US has been overthrowing democratically elected gov'ts the world over since 1953, starting in Iran.

You're an excellent salesman. If only YOU had access to Joe and Mary Sixpack, Commander Bunnypants would still be looking for oil in Texas.

3. We an our buddies are the good guys who wear white hats: those who
oppose us (the bad guys in black hats) are terrorists. That seems simple enough.

6. Good question
There were people who strugged to make the USA free from an occupying foreign power, we call them American Revolutionaries, Freedom Fighters of Founding Fathers. Which is just what Iraqi people will be calling these "terrorists" for years to come!

7. Terrorism is any resistance or opposition to bush or sharon regimes

"You are with us, or you are with the terrorists," said bush, astonishing millions who had not until that moment realized that they were terrorists.

12. Some of them are
If you target a UN building, for example, you're probably a terrorist.

But if you restrict yourself to military targets, then you're engaging in legitimate resistance.
