1. Looks like Insulation
as in the passenger cabin walls for thermal insulation and noise reduction.

2. perhaps, but what is the debris?
it looks too pristine-- too uncrumpled-- to be plane wreckage.

if it is plane debris, what parts of the plane?

5. I'm not convinced they are plane parts
I wonder if they are parts from some vehicle on the ground that was hit by falling debris

4. Full Contact Information For the Photographer Is Available On the Site

I assume you contacted Mr. Tannenbaum.

What did he think it was?

6. I usually don't get responses from when I inquire about these things
(even when using my real name) -- that's why I am asking this group of experts here.

But I have contacted him and will let you know if he gives me any info.

7. I don't think their are any experts here on what tha tphoto shows.
Unless you have more images from another angle or something I think all you will get is speculation.

Yes the brown stuff looks like some form of insulation. The shiny stuff looks like metal... um... other than that I don't think their is sufficient information in the photo. Their isn't much detail to recognize and place.

8. He doesn't answer the telephone?

If you think the DUngeon is a "group of experts", then you need to re-calibrate your definition of "expert".

Experts in what? Figuring out what some brown matter is in a photograph?

Given your previously stated position, one would assume that you believe it to be a "planted airplane part", but that the condition of it indicates that it has not undergone a violent collision and explosion.

If the point of planting "airplane parts" was to reinforce a media brainwashing campaign to make people believe there were airplanes involved in 9/11, then why would you suppose that there aren't a lot more pictures of this object, and that those pictures were not widely circulated?

10. Actually he responded to my email today
just said it occurred after the 2nd hit, he didn't really know what the debris was-- building or plane

Your other points are valid-- I will say that it's still not clear to me that these are plane parts but if they are, then it might help me change my mind-- I am happy to see new evidence.

I would say further, that the people here tend to know a hell of a lot about 9/11 and I thought maybe in the collective mind here, someone might know more

11. here is a United Airlines Boeing 767
Edited on Thu Jul-24-08 12:11 PM by spooked911

This is supposedly the same plane that hit the south tower.

Where could these parts have come from?

particularly since when the plane goes into the tower, we don't see *anything* breaking off-- and no way did this stuff come out the other side in this condition. Same for AA11.

So I'm very curious about what this debris is.

13. It's very simple

Just get a list of everything in Manhattan that day, and cross of the ones that it doesn't look like.

It would be very useful to have asked the photographer more than "what's this", such as asking the photographer generally about what was going on in the picture and where it was taken.

To put the problem another way, who believes that the debris is a piece of an airplane?

15. Who says they are airplane parts?
take a close look at a high rise building - there is sheet metal of every imaginable shape and thickness. Along with insulation of every conceivable type. The debris most likely came off the buildings.

16. yes
it does not look like airplane wreckage.

This is Aloha Airlines Boeing 737, N73711 -

http://www.disastercity.info/flt243/index.htm

As the airplane leveled at 24,000 feet, both pilots heard a loud "clap" or "whooshing" sound followed by a wind noise behind them. The first officer's head was jerked backward, and she stated that debris, including pieces of gray insulation, was floating in the cockpit. The captain observed that the cockpit entry door was missing and that there was blue sky where the first-class ceiling had been. The captain immediately took over the controls of the airplane. He described the airplane attitude as rolling slightly left and right and that the flight controls felt "loose."
