Bill Richardson To Take Over Commerce, NIST
So all you 9/11 CT advocates, get it all out now. What are your objections to Bill Richardson? What are you going to claim about him when he takes over NIST and the "official story" doesn't change?

Are you going for the "all the parties are the same" cynical BS? Or are there Richardson-specific objections you're going to find? I'm interested!

1. We'll have to wait and see
see if any NIST engineers, no longer fearing reprisal, will step forward and challenge the "ahem" orthodoxy.

3. In an age of digital anonymity
don't you think a NIST scientist could find away to get the "truth" out without being discovered? Do you have any actual examples of retaliation or threats or is this just your personal explanation as to why NIST engineers reject your world view?

4. It should also be noted that resetbutton's 'theory' doesn't address
all the non-government engineers who have looked at the collapses.

5. I didn't say it would happen, only that it could
Wishful thinking I suppose...

6. Your statement doesn't make any sense.
Why would you want them to discard all of the facts and science?
You are assuming that they currently disagree with what they claim to agree with. That is an unfounded assumption that is directly at odds with the facts. What makes you think your assumption is valid?

7. Well... I believe the NIST was directed to produce results that fit a narrative
and within those boundaries I'm sure they did their best to employ sound scientific methodology. Some of what you refer to as "facts" are conjecture based on models built around a theory, and have not been proven. It will be interesting to see what else we may learn over time.

11. So nothing right?
None of what you said would support your assumption that their are scientists or engineers who disagree with the current theory that are afraid to come forward.
So we are left with your personal opinion that somehow you must be right so they must be 'out there'.

Good luck with that.

12. I'm not assuming, it's more like wondering
Maybe my threshold for proof is unreasonably high, so sue me.

10. If your world view is "conspiracy everywhere all the time"
then I guess you might have a point.

17. You mean...

...none of them has provided information anonymously to Richard Gage?

They'd know exactly where the sleight-of-hand is.

18. Strangely enough, engineers are not the clueless idiots people seem to think.
While plenty of engineers have blundered through "whistleblowing" it isn't terribly difficult to do in a manner that covers one's tracks. I even had a few lectures about it in undergrad (about as many as ethics, if that tells you anything).

19. Here's a dose of reality
In my office at least 20% of the engineers (also most managers) had little or no concern about a job loss in the last five year. If there were fired for challenging the so called orthodoxy, they would take a few day off and be working elsewhere in a few days.

TO believe every engineer or scientist in the NIST fears reprisal for speaking out is the making of a lame fictional story at best. But hey fictional stories is what CT'ism is all about.
