that he supports Jones, as Palast is sort of a mainstream journalist, in the UK anyway (he's not conformist and servile enough to be mainstream in the US), and Alex Jones is what most people would label a "conspiracy theorists". If you've ever listened to Alex Jones, he's an absolute crank and he knows it. He spouts such a volume of weirdness that eventually something he "predicts" will actually happen.

Let's put this into perspective. I recall listening to his show one time where he stated that he "just received fax" from a listener in Iowa who was saying that the "black helicopters" are just outside of his town, and that there is a "UN base" being setup somewhere in his county. He then went into a frenzy about baby-eating power elites in the secret halls of the Freemasons pulling the strings of the UN or something kooky like that.

Another time, I heard him frantically warn listeners in Alaska that the Army is gathering up all the states' senior citizens to put them into detention camps where they will have their bones "ground into a fine powder" -- to what end, exactly? I don't know. But he sounded pretty sure that this was going on right behind our backs.

Look, this isn't "Alex hate". I think the guy's hilariously fun to listen to. But the thing is, with all of the strange stuff he peppers his show with, anything legitimate he says gets lost in the bullshit.

And I haven't heard him make one mention of something like that in the past few years. He's actually gotten much better about falling for callers tall tales and repeatedly asks for backup evidence before he'll endorse a callers speculation.

He's also been better about posting his source documents. He does get a little wild when he references out some things he's overheard from friends and family...and he pushes his vids and those awful commercials way too much...But what do you expect from a personality like his?

I did just watch about 3 of his hour-long videos that include about 3 minutes of information apart from the hysteria if at all.

He's really a paranoid right-wing conspiracy-nut.

People like him might be sometimes closer to the truth than people, who believe the mainstream-media but that's all.
If you predict so many things to happen one or the other might really become true.

To explain my attitude: a conspiracy-nut is someone, who's looking for a simple explanation for everything that is happening. Like a reversed religion: If there is no God, who rules it all, at least there has to be an evil force behind everything. Everything is better than the complex world we live in.

One does not have to become a conspiracy-nut to simply see the overwhelming evidence that the terror-attacks were nothing but false-flag terrorism commited by the Bush-Administration.

used or planning to be used. It made it up the chain of command but didn't hit the WH except for the memo "bin Laden plans to attack inside America".

Bush WH was wrong in that they ignored the warnings passed on to them by Sandy Burger et all because they were too busy drinking the Kool-Aid.

Clinton too was in power at a time when the rare information on terrorists planning to use planes or re-attack the WTC came forward.

Again - it was public knowledge that the Islamists wanted the WTC attacked, because some of them had already tried.

It was public knowledge that terrorists hijacked planes and one attempt to hijack a plane and fly it into the Eiffel Tower had been thwarted. It was public knowledge.

Many businesses moved away from the WTC after the bomb in the garage.

Again, there were bits and pieces of public and private knowledge that something like this could happen (again) to the WTC and that Federal buildings like the Pentagon were often mentioned.

Bush & his group just didn't prioritize properly. The FBI & the CIA were not coordinated.

There are many open and public as well as intelligence clues. Hindsight is always 20/20. Remember they actually arrested one of the hijackers before the attack. They just didn't prioritize getting into his computer.

People were not on their toes. They never had it in mind that anyone would hijack a plane and kill everyone on board. Again, there was some discussion a few years before 9/11 about the Egyptians pilot who crashed his plane into the Atlantic. People wondered if that was a suicide bomber because of the pilots last words to Allah. But it turned out the pilot was under investigation for harassment and that was what likely pushed him over the edge.

This was public knowledge.

There was in fact enough public knowledge out there that one could say all of America was in on the conspiracy. Because we saw these events happen over the 1990s and we were not expecting suicide bombers to use planes as bombs inside the USA. The intelligence departments, with a few exceptions of people who were actually sitting on top of a terrorist, or a pattern of Arab visa holders going to pilot school..who tried to ring the bell.

For sure it was a big mistake for the Bush WH to focus immediately on covetous oil & Iraq things. And to put the crisis of bin Landen which the Clinton WH handed them on the back burner. Clinton even handed them a battle plan after they had proof about the Cole bombing being bin Laden.

Everyone made mistakes on that day.

Why would you in the USA assume that foreign terrorist bombings would never happen in the USA when 300 people in Canada had already been killed by terrorists with foreign beefs (Air India) in 1980s, and all of Europe had been dealing with multiple bombings for 20 years.

Why would the population of America think that it would never happen to them? That is illogical. But we all live in a bubble of safety when we know nothing but security.

I listed again? pretty vague. No hi-jacked airliners, no Pentagon, just "blowing things up" and he said "they'd" attack the WTC again, not hard to predict after 1993.


BTW, he seems to imply that President Clinton was in on this, with the 1993 attacks, and Oklahoma City, etc. Do YOU believe Clinton is in on it/? if so, why are you on a site for liberal DEMOCRATS? If not, why are you cherry picking Jones' rants.
