OpED News.com "Time for the true story about 9/11" : http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_matthew__060311_time_for_the_true_st.htmI love the side-bar at their site: "Reach Passionate Liberals.... Your Ad Here" How 'bout it .... all you "passionate" liberals .... (All ads will be pre-tested for traces of Viagra or anabolic steroids)

1. Opednews is mainstream? |
|
it's a great site but it serves a very small audience with a relatively narrow focus. I no one I know personally reads it and I hang with an educated and internet savvy group of people who in the main are liberal Democrats. When you consider how few people get their news from the internet, I would not consider this mainstreaming.

2. Marginalizing the "mainstream" ..... primary task of a gatekeeper |

How very observant and prompt of "hack.." to immediately tag it and label it as "narrow" with "a very small audience", not frequented by the "educated and internet savvy group" that YOU hang with.
Which is, I suppose, precisely what makes them so "educated" and "savvy" .. namely, that they prefer NOT to take off their handy DENIAL-blinders and countenance such obviously marginal "conspiracy theories".
Nice little bit of Orwellian newspeak (or should I call it "double-think"), "hack..".. Really grateful that you're on the case, helping to clear up any mis-understanding of terms like "mainstream", "internet savvy", and "in the main".
Reminds me of someone else whom I heard rececntly, claimng that information only becomes "mainstream" when CNN, FOX and MSNBC inform us that it's "mainstream". Or when it appears on the front-page of the New York Times or Washington Post.
Please forgive my subjective presumption of just what constitutes "mainstream" on the Internet. How reassuring to know that we have you "hanging around" to alert us when our definition of "mainstream" is deviating dangerously from "objective" reality.
Students of propaganda, psy-ops and psycho-linguistics would refer to your redefining "mainstream" as "hollowing out the language".... (See Mark Crispin Miller for further details.)

Holy hell man, she's been a nut job since day one. Have you ever checked out any of her post's or OP's? I think Pink Floyd got it right with this one. Agreed?

And people know it was criminal. They are just afraid and so continue to accept the same lies, but htey know. That is why they are so touchy when the truth comes along.
