You guys do realize that Bush will be Shrill as Hell tonight. |
|
Be prepared to hear every right field accusation tonight thrown at JK. AND let's hope I am right. Dubya's boxed into a corner because if he tries this tactic Kerry will destroy him.

This is our most desirable scenario. Bush looking like the shrill, frightened, clueless, hateful little weasel that he is. I hope that Kerry is able to set off right at the onset of the debate. The earlier Bush gets flustered , the better for our side.

2. Of course he will be. His back is against the wall. |
|
I'm expecting Bush will use that "oil for food" thing as a justification for the war. I'm expecting him to use that "flip flop" nonsense...even though Kerry clearly showed that is a blatant lie.
Yes...Bush will be shrill and strident tonight. But Kerry will calmly refute everything.

3. Bush will not be good tonight... |
|
They were afraid of this format and not because he was afraid of hostile questions...he's just so bad at thinking on his feet... Look how bad he was at press conferences EVEN with known questions!!
He's going to look very small against Kerry tonight...
Nora O'Donnel on Imus just said that Bush will throw Kerry's senate vote on the war at him tonight and he's going to have to answer that...oh goody!! Kerry can finally quote from his speech which asked for Bush to go slow!!! HA!!!!! Can't wait!!

He'll go for it, and get more and more frustrated and whiny when a mixed audience doesn't give him the adulation he feels he deserves.
Since it is his nature to reinforce failure he will keep pushing at it, falling into the same downward spiral we saw in the last debate.

5. There will be a different Bush tonight don't expect the same thing he did |
|
the last time.. The only problem is Bush is not in command of the issues so even though he will try his best not to make faces an appear inpatient, I don't think he can suddenly swing from the slogan talking points.

9. The "smirk" will be dominant. |

I know exactly how an untreated alcoholic "pastes on" the mask of self-confidence. He's an egomaniac with an inferiority complex. Kerry will shred him into a pile of shit.

7. Fortunate Son can't control his emotions |
|
I'm betting his handlers told him to come out with the aww-shucks, man-of-the-people folksy act so that he can deflect any tough questions away with humor and cartoonish sound bites.
But what they don't count on is someone asking him a question that pisses him off, or Kerry painting a not-so-pretty picture of his administration. Bush cannot deal with being questioned or criticized. He lives in a world where he is shielded from reality. The key is to knock him out of his game plan. He will not be able to control his rage if Kerry or the audience comes at him. Then Kerry scores an easy and decisive victory simply by looking calm and presidential, and a knockout blow if he successfully makes a logical and convincing case for a Kerry presidency.

the little weasel. He may respond to the challenge well enough to keep it close. He may just slither out of the noose and stop the bleeding.
This thing isn't over until November 2.

13. But--isn't it poss. they can medicate away the shrillness & the smirk? |
|
That's what I'm worried about. Not just the strong possibility that they can rig the audience to give him softball questions, but also that they have been experimenting w/ just the right amount of feelgood meds that will relax him...

14. Town hall meetings aren't supposed to be... |
|
sling fests, are they? From what I've seen of the town hall format, it's about the candidates getting an opportunity to speak to the people, not about them throwing salvos (or 'zingers') at each other.
I hope Kerry focuses on hammering home to the audience what he would do when President and use this as a stark contrast to what Bush has done in his first term rather than outright attack Bush again and again as I suspect Bush is going to do to Kerry.
I have no idea what to expect from this format, except Kerry will likely answer the questions while Bush continues to throw out his jingoistic sound bites and zingers. I am not as nervous for Kerry tonight as I as for Edwards the other night, and Edwards did damn good. It probably won't be as interesting as the VP debates because the candidates tonight aren't even close to being evenly matched.

Yeah, they'll throw his Senate record, the fact that France appears to be a key player in this "oil for food scam" and his "global test" comment at him. If he can defend those, he'll come off smelling like roses.
Kerry needs to keep it simple and easy to understand when explaining the more complicated points, especially when it comes to his voting record. I hate to sound mean but there are a lot of people in the USA who don't know realize that the Senate is really all about "playing politics".
I'd like to see him discuss things like immigration and securing our borders, things that matter to the Right as well as the Left.
I wish John the best of luck tonight and hope that he hands * his ass.

16. No matter what he does |
|
its going to be funny. I have been waiting for years to see the Chimp compelled to account for his miserable performance as the chief executive. The first debate was wonderful. I relish seeing him wounded some more.
These debates are more like seeing exorcisms. Its like seeing a minor demon being driven from the WH
What's he going to do?
Can he have become insightful, adept, focused, intellecutally sound and likable since the last debate ? Can he have learned to think on his feet, will he have command of the facts ? Can he answer basic questions and discuss themes, issues,
All we get insteat are reptated lies -
He has a big rock to push up hill.

17. junior ugly monkey ass will be swinging around while his arms |
|
wave endlessly. He'll be smiling, cheer leading the audience with false ambiguous statements, he'll be pleading, telling stories about John Doe losing his life for freedom. How he's making life better for Jane Doe. How America is on the move and we got them terrorist on the run. And how God wants Democracy to win the peace on this planet........then junior will tell it again.....and again......and.....and again junior will tell us how he climbed that "mighty mountain and saw peace in the valley below."
Kerry is gonna fry his ass tonight.
