Missing Arm Ad, big trouble for Bu$h
Have you seen the latest ad with the Hispanic soldier talking about why we went to Iraq and then shows his missing arm? I about died. This is the heaviest hitting ad that I have seen this entire campaign season.

Big trouble for *, playing in the Virginia market. Watch VA go BLUE!

2. Yes
we're getting this ad in North Carolina a lot too. We're also all of a sudden getting the MoveOn ad with Bush failing to name one mistake he has made.

5. We are getting the MoveOn ad with the mother crying for her son
who died in Iraq.

At least Iowa is getting them -- I can see them in Illinois if I watch
the Quad Cities stations.

16. Powerful and very true
Anyone who needs to be ripped back to reality, just hang out in the Walter Reed Medical Center main lobby for 1 hour. Or even go to the chow hall in the same building. There are soldiers left and right missing arms and legs. These soldiers are NEVER shown to the public until now.

It is a disservice to not allow the public to see the true costs of war. Regardless of whether you support the war or not, ALL people should face the reality of war REALLY means. War is hell and means death and dismemberment of REAL people.

Most of the soldiers you see at Walter Reed who are trying to recover are in their late teens to mid twenties. These men are looking at 50+ years of living without arms and legs. Is that sacrifice worth it to try to remove a a potential threat of wanting to build weapons in the distant future if the world had decided to remove all the sanctions and turn their backs long enough for weapons to be built? Was it worth these sacrifices to occupy a country for dozens of years in order to remove intellectual knowledge of how to possibly rebuild these weapons if the international community had later decided to lift all sanctions and ignore this country? How damn preemptive are we gonna get anyway?

These soldiers deserve better. They signed up to defend our country, not to defend presidential mistakes.

21. Great news
I just saw this ad last night on the Internet and was hoping it would get some major play. I'm so, so encouraged to see that this ad - as well as the Move On "Mistakes" ad - are getting play. Both are very powerful and really hit the viewer in the face with the facts. Breaks your heart, yes, but incredibly effective. It drives me nuts when the GOP shills keep trying to talk about only the deaths in Iraq, because the amount of injuries is staggering.
