OK... after hearing all 3 debates.... |
|
During the primaries, I hadn't heard or seen a whole lot of Kerry... but, at that point, I was "ABB"... now, after hearing all 3 debates (plus the VP debate), I am firmly convinced Kerry is wholly deserving to be the next president. He has completely won me over. (Even though he had my vote anyway...) He was intelligent, articulate, passionate, and his position on every issue almost perfectly mirrored my positions. A fine, fine Job, Mr. Kerry... :toast:

I was especially impressed with the clear positions he took on affirmative action and abortion. I was surpised Bush tried to double talk his way around those issues.

All the national media outlets, bcc them, with those exact words. We need to win the spin war. May sound stupid, but it does help.
He is an amazing human being, simply amazing. We're lucky to have all 4 of them.

The mind-boggling glossing over of Bush's faults by the media for the last 3 years has infuriated me to no end.. now, I see light at the end of the tunnel, and dammit, I will make our voices be heard.

6. I must admit, I was a Kerry doubter, but he has more than proven himself. |
|
I will be proud to have him as my president.

8. I admit I was originally ABB ... |
|
but after these couple of months since early July , I have gained a lot of respect for Senator Kerry . I was originally for Wesley Clark but I cleary think that Kerry will make a great President . In less than 3 weeks I can not wait to show Bush the finger and vote him out of office .

9. This one will be scored even by the pundits |

Although it looked like Dubya was coming off the tracks, his heartfelt moment of discussing his family will cause 'Merkins across the country to feel a twinge of sympathy.
He may be a war criminal, but he's all warm and fuzzy inside.

I would have crawled over glass to vote against chimpy but Kerry has won me over. And, btw folks, isn't it about time we had a thoughtful, intelligent, empathetic president again? I've almost forgot what it was like.

11. I don't agree with him on a lot of issues, actually-- |
|
--but at least people can have intelligent conversations about issues with him. A huge plus. And it's clear he has the temperament for the job.

13. I agree. For the first time since John Kennedy, I will actually |
|
be voting FOR someone rather than voting against someone. Well, maybe a little against someone thrown in for good measure, but Kerry certainly is what I want in a President.
